Only if your doctor decides treatment is right for you. If it isn’t, you won’t be charged.
Who are the doctors?
GMC-registered doctors with an interest in weight management. They are responsible for your care.
Who can have treatment?
You need to be 18 or over and live in the UK. Treatment isn’t suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with some conditions such as past pancreatitis. Your doctor makes the final decision.
Which medicines do you prescribe?
Four licensed weight-management medicines: two weekly injections and two daily tablets. Your doctor decides which suits you.
What if I get side effects?
Tell us. Your doctor can lower your dose, slow the pace, or prescribe to ease symptoms.
What does it cost?
